this is a great track, it's better than a reeses peanut butter cup having 3 great flavors that taste great together! there are parts of the video that remind me of the nooka extra-dimensional video which you can view here. it's great to think that we could provide a little inspiration sometimes:) i can't wait to hear what santogold's next album will sound like...still listen to the debut over and over...

as can be expected, kanye has a great eye and the art direction of the video was most certainly his. great job!

i had wanted to blog about this only when i had an event planned to handle like a movie premiere, but unfortunately we are not terribly coordinated with anything other than fashion magazine press here at nooka.

this video was art directed and animated by futuretron infinity [it's a jewish name i think...maybe not], a young talented designer from melbourne australia working at my design studio, berrymatch. creative direction was by futuretron, myself and team utilizing photography from out latest lookbook art directed by the supervisory and yumi asai.

i am totally flattered that my best friend i've yet to meet in person, kanye west, has featured it on his blog! he calls it "DOPENESS" which is absolutely the ultimate compliment!

NOOKA MYOOZIK

i can't believe i'm being so consistent with my blog, but i guess it's thanks to google analytics -- seeing what pages are getting viewed after press items and other blog mentions is actually quite engrossing. i could write only about nooka stuff [unfortunately, a lot of the stuff is now on a PR calendar --im told when i can blog about product releases:)] but that would give you guys a very narrow view of the the matthew waldman nooka experience!

aside from fine design, i am actually a bit of a music geek. and much like nooka, my musical tastes are not mainstream. music is always playing in my design studio, and luckily, we all tend to have similar tastes. i also like to think that nooka is the watch of the alternative/electronic music scene as we do see them popping up in photos of musicians at festivals [jenny wilson, mika, kanye west and many others!]. if you are a musician who owns a nooka, please send us a little bio with a photo of you wearing the nooka and we can post it in our press section online or just here.
